Friends

how many of us have them. Friends. Ones we can depend on. Friends.

Today we joined some of our friends for some creative fun! The girls made sand mosaics and they had a great time. Using shells, sequins, sand, and some other odds and ends, they created two very interesting and cute projects. I loved seeing them be creative, especially Celena, who really got into it this time.

After they finished their creations, they headed straight to the sand. I tried to keep them clean, but really, why bother? It was pointless and by the time we left, they were both wet and covered in sand. They had fun though, we all did. It was nice to be able to just hang out and talk with my own friends.

With my children the wet, sandy mess that they were, we headed to the store. I'm trying to finish a summer scrapbook and I needed some more things. I got some cute stuff and I'm hoping it comes out well. I didn't realize all the things we have done this summer! We've had some good times and thankfully I have the pictures to prove it!!
