First grade is going great! Nana likes her class, her teacher, and all is right in the world! Yay! I can't say how relieved I am that she is happy. I guess that was my underlying concern all along. If she hated it then I needed a plan B, but not now. It has been strange for Cel and I, not having Nana here all day. The first few days we were pretty beside ourselves. Today I needed to get some things for my weekend away (woo-hoo!) so we ventured out. After shopping we headed over to a very cute little cafe in downtown. They specialize in cupcakes and I've been wanting to try them for awhile now. We had fun, the cupcakes were YUMMY, the atmosphere was awesome. Afterwards, we took a walk down the street and checked out a very quirky little shop. It was nice getting out, add to that the beautiful sunshine and it was a good day!

I am so happy Nan is happy with school and all is going great! Yay mama!!! Hope next week goes well for Cel. We should so get together for coffee when our kiddo's are in school and we are FREE MAMA's whooo hooo!!!
I just LOVE this pic....Cel is so happy. It's a reflection of your time together. I'm so happy that both your daughters are enjoying life. It makes for happy mommas!
