Story of my life

Tonight Nana and I sat after dinner and she read to me. It amazes me that my baby girl can read her books to me now! She is so smart and I love to sit and listen and watch as her little brain works to make sense of the jumbled letters before her. It's like I can hear the little cogs turning in her head as she processes the words. And just like a cartoon, I see the light bulb go off above her head when she gets it! It's awesome.

So we read Curious George and Madeline, we talked about the stories, and it was good. Cel joined us after she decided to finish eating and enjoyed the stories as we read them again. It was one of those mommy moments where I just soak it all in and think to myself......this is what it's all about. This is what makes it all worth it.

Thanks for sharing such a sweet moment. Agree that reading and making up bedtime stories is my favorite part of day.
