The things we do for love

We love our kids, more than anything in this whole world. For that reason and only that reason, we took them to see....dun, dun, dun...High School Musical 3 on Sunday! The horror, I know.

Seriously though, they loved it. Steven and I sat through an hour and a half of teenage musical torture, but they loved it. Sitting next to them, watching their faces as they watched, it was adorable. I remember being that age and feeling that kind of excitement. At one point, Nana was sitting there snapping her fingers along to the music. My entertainment came simply from glancing at Steven every now and then and seeing the look on his face. Priceless.
It really came down to the things we do for love. We sit through endless parades of kids movies, princess dresses, my little ponies, stuffed animals that seem to mysteriously multiply before our eyes, all to make our kids happy, because we love them. And we secretly love it all ;)

It's amazing how we, as parents, are able to turn our hearing off, although in the movie theater, it's gotta be alot harder!

Oh My Lord! I wonder what kind of damage that film series has done to kids who think High School is really like that?!

You guys are amazing for sitting thru that!
