Don't Let The Days Go By

These days fly by at the speed of light and where they go I am completely unsure. How I have ended up with an 8 and 5 year old is beyond me.
Adriana is Raven of the Month for January. She is beyond excited and is telling everyone she knows. I am so proud of her. I've been volunteering in her class much more often this year and it has been great. I feel more in tune with her school life than before. I like that. Her independence is growing and she is becoming more and more grown up each day.

Celena is my wild child. Still. No news there really. She is loving school. Has a "boy" she plays with named Zade. She is going to give me more gray hairs than I have already. She is such an old soul. I love to hear the things that come out of her mouth on a daily basis, except of course when they are dripping with attitude, as they have been for the last few months.

The separation has been hard on them, but they are handling it like champs. Once Steven gets moved into his new place,  I think it will help even more. The stability will be even more steady. Christmas was a blast with them. I worry sometimes that they are getting too spoiled. It's something I need to keep in check, but I do want my babies to have all they wish for, in moderation.
